Something more interesting... I want my mom to cry. :)
Got NEW ideas on what to do for mother's day? Besides the usual cards and flowers and stuff?
Give a gift of time for Mother's Day. Make a promise and keep it, to spend a day with your mother, doing whatever she enjoys, whether that's baking, garage saling or sky diving! Let it be her day, and let her choose which day it is, within reason.
A busy mother often lacks time for herself. She dreams about being able to take walks alone, stay in the shower more than 2 minutes and finish the book she started when you were born! Giving the gift of time isn't so hard. What it means is that you take over some chores or a day's worth of chores or watch younger siblings to allow her to do whatever she wants to do.
She doesn't need to go anywhere (unless she wants to), or do anything special... just whatever she wants to do.
A clean house! This is another "take over the chores" type of gift, but with a twist. Having a clean house makes anyone feel good, so give a hand made gift certificate for cleaning time at her request. Make eight (or however many hours' worth you want to give) boxes on the certificate (or individual certificates) and in each one write "1 Hour." She can choose whether she wants an hour a day for eight days, a full day's work, or an hour or two here and there. What could make a homemaker happier?
You can do a one time job for her, like cleaning out a storage shed or washing and waxing her car. Washing windows on the house, or doing other heavy house cleaning are other possibilities.
Reply:Don't know your budget, but take her out to dinner, and a movie, concert,or something she would enjoy.Spend a whole day with her at a spa.Write a poem and get it personalized and framed.Hope I helped!
Reply:Make something nice. Clothing. Jewelry. Spending real time together. Cry? Tears of joy I hope.
Reply:Make her a video telling her how you feel. With a nice song playing in the background low. Something like memories.
Reply:call your relatives to go in your house then have dinner with them together...and tell you brother and sister to say something to you mother why she is the best mom?? In that way maybe she will cry for that.
Reply:Buy a pretty, glass vase and fill it with memories. Write all the mushy, sentimental, tear-jerking memories that you can on decorative pieces of paper and fill the vase with them. We did that and mom was so overtaken with emotion that she could not read too many at a time.
Reply:u want to make ur mom to cry.........? then beat her...bite her...
Reply:How about a collage of pictures of you and siblings at different ages and tell your mother about all of the nice things that you remember her doing for you at those ages.
And remember to thank her for those memories.
Throw Her a surprise picnic. Make all the food your self if you can. If you can't Buy it at the deli and slip it onto your serving plates. In some cases this is very impressive.
