Have many such notes, collected over the years, written by my sons...and cherished.

Reply:I think that absolutely, flowers are suitable for mother's day. I am sure that your mother won't think you are cheap; she probably understands that you are a busy person. Better yet you can write a poem or make your own card; that's what I do, and it hits more of a heartstring than a material thing. :-) Have fun!
Reply:i guess so if she likes flowers i personally would hate flowers for a gift i think that they are impersonal and dont take alot of thought...i would much rather have something that looks like it took thought...and something that wont be dead a week later
