Should I send him a Father's Day card?

My boyfriend and I broke up 3 months ago. It was/is painful but amicable. Just last week, I asked him for no further contact (just too hard on me) He's a good man and I love him..I know it will touch him if I send him an e-card today. But, I'm afraid he'll take that to mean that contact between us is back on. I'm admittedly a 'pleaser'..I know he'll like recieving it. He sent me a Mother's Day e-card with a beautiful personal message last month. I hate to seem cold or rude! But, asking for no contact was the hardest thing, I hate to undo that. What should I do??



Btw, he's not my child's father.

I am struggling with the same thing this morning. My exBF and I broke up a few months ago after six years together. He has a child from a previous marriage and I always remember him on Father's Day but I've requested no contact. I have mixed feelings but I think I'm going to pass on the observance this year. I'd be interested to know what you do and how it goes.
