Do you think this is ok for mothers day?

I didnt have any money, AT ALL, to get my mom something nice. So instead I made you a card and inside I told her how I was so lucky to have her as a mother. I told her some other things and all brought up some old memories and thanked her for being there always. Then I made her a type of banner and hung it on the wall. I also found some lyrics and made a sort of 'frame card' thing with the lyrics in there. "Celine Dion" Because you loved me.

Do you think that is a nice thing or should I wait and get her something In two weeks when I get paid?

Do you think this is ok for mothers day?
I think that your mother will love it. She probably doesn't look at how much money you spend, but how much heart is put into it, and it sounds like you have a lot of heart.
Reply:What you did is VERY thoughtful and I am sure your mom will appreciate it. If you want bring her out to dinner when you get paid. Or better yet make dinner for her, or wash her car, it will mean a lot. =) Love is FREE..............
Reply:Your mom will understand if you didn't have money, and if she's as wonderful as she sounds, something this personal will mean everything in the world to her. Even if you decide to get her something when you get money, make sure to give her the homemade items! That is a very creative, clever idea and she will love it!
Reply:Hun I think that is very sweet what you did for your mom and I know that she will love it and cherish it always. remeber its not the gift its the thought . Happy mothers day to your mom and she is very lucky to have you as her daughter.
Reply:I think any mother would like this alot. It shows that you spent time on doing this stuff for her. My mother's favorite gifts from me are the ones I make for her, rather than buy for her. Good job! You a good daughter. If you feel the need to get her something when you get paid then do it. it'll only impress her more.
Reply:that is so sweet !!! i'm sure she'll love it...because "us moms" know it's the thought that counts. i really don't want gifts at all...a home made card or drawing is what i love...a nice breakfast in bed and some peace and quiet for a few hours would be great, someone else setting the table and doing the dishes would be awesome, the kids dressing their own beds and picking up their toys (so i don't slide across the room and fall because i stepped on a car) would be the best presents ever...yes, i literally stepped on a car, slide across the room and fell...lol
