Do you get a gift for your husband for father's day?

Even if he didn't even get you a card for mother's day? (yes, that means no gift either, no observation of honor) Let's say you've been married for 13+ years and have given birth to 3 exact replicas of him.

Reply:some men just don't see the point of spending money on things. Mine doesn't want anything brought for him. And after our first year he had me write a list of "Get something or your in the doghouse" dates. Until now i've been getting him what he needed (new watch one year and a wallet the next) this year the kids have made is gift. If your kids forget to give him something OH well. I would jsut tell him happy fathers day. If they are older than 3 then your job is done. :)
Reply:Yes, I get my husband a polo shirt or something small he needs. The kids make something in school for him. They always give me flowers for mother's day, this year I got a lovely orchid.
Reply:Hi, If he didnt give you a mother's day gift, girl don't waste your time getting him a gift. he obviously doesn't attach any value to such days. That's my view. But follow your heart, do what you want
Reply:fathers day is not for months here (australia) What would i give my husband if I was you....wow that may get me arrested LOL. How can he get you nothing? I would give him nothing. Doesn't sound like it is important to him if he did nothing for you

Reply:The kids can make him a special supper with you to supervise. The cooking would be good for them. Make one card (don't buy it) and everybody sign it. If you have a pet, give him a card from the pet. (I have cats and a dog and he gets a card from them. I make sure it is a funny one.) I don't get any mothers day observance either, so I make my own. I don't do anything in the house (time for the Colonel -- KFC) and if I have the money, I'll go to a movie. Sometimes I order flowers for myself. Or I delay my celebration until the next day and get a pedicure. Thanks, dear, for the pedicure! Just keep your sense of humor.
Reply:I got nothing for mother's day, not even a card. But he has a card and a new computer for father's day and I'm making bacon, eggs, and crapes for his breakfast. And a home made gigantic cookie.
