Should I get my boyfriend's mom a Mother's Day card?

He and I have been together eight months and I don't know his mom too well, but I have met her several times (he and I live 50 miles apart). Should I get her some kind of card to acknowledge the day? I know for a fact he won't get one for my mom (they have met a few times too, but my family lives two and a half hours from where I live).

Should I get my boyfriend's mom a Mother's Day card?
sure you may score some major brownie points! it will show her that your good for her son and that you are a giving person
Reply:No, if you are not engaged you should not get his mother a card
Reply:YES I WOULD
Reply:no
Reply:DO you need to ask that? its mother's day don't be like that, even if you do not know your bf's mother. if you want too then give her a card, what harm can it do? :)
Reply:It's a charming idea to send Mother's Day greeting to ANY mother, whether yours or someone else's.
Reply:Yes, its a nice thought. I give my gf's mom a card also.
Reply:I wouldn't you might make a precedent of it. Send her a card and stuff on her birthday is fine. Your boyfriend may also think you are getting a bit too heavy. Why not just star reading wedding magazines?
Reply:I always did. It's just a nice thing to do to let her know you think of her too. Appreciation for moms in general is never a bad thing. Go for it.
Reply:if he wont get one for your mom then dont do it
Reply:Yeah why not, cant do any harm!?
