Mothers day! help me!?

tommorrow is mothes day, and i am freaking out. i live with my parents, am 16, can't drive and i am broke. i have no idea what to do? every year i end up having my dad buy something and say its from me, and also, usually i don't get along with my mother. she is an avid gardener, so, any suggestions? i already have her a card planned...also, for christmas, i got her a photo album with pictures of us together...

Why don't you ask your father to bring you to the local market and buy a bunch of plants for her, and then you can help her put them in the garden? Then you can make some lemonade or something for her; that way you are just spending some time getting to know her better and that will be enough.



Either that or give her the photo album now and put something else together by christmas. You have plenty of time to get a job or make something new.

Reply:That's very sweet of you having her card planned and the great Christmas gift of a photo album she will always cherish with pictures of you both in it. My Dad sent me one with baby pictures to growing up of me and one of a dog we had back when I was 8, that really touched my heart. For mothers day why don't you help your Mom in the garden and ask her questions (even if you don't really care to know) about soil, plants, too much sun too little sun. And tell her that her garden looks very beautiful and that she is the reason for it. Give her your card and help her with dinner. Maybe get your Dad to buy her something to put in her garden like a Gazing Ball for her garden to attract butterflies and it just looks beautiful.
Reply:Make her a card on your computer. Write something special that conveys your feelings. Make her breakfast. And maybe even include in the card a gift certificate of things you will do for her. Like maybe help her in the garden, clean the house, the garage--something. Then get a job so next year you can take her to brunch. Good luck.

Look,don't worry if your broke that's ok,just say Happy Mother's Day to your mother,and show her you care-by fixing her breakfast,and stuff like that.Also,I'm not insulting you or anything,but if you want to succeed-sooner or later you'll need a job,so find one(+ I'm sure that would make your parents proud)...and I promise everything will go much better =)
