He did not acknowledge on mothers day?

yesterday was mothers day i was depressed cuz it was my first mothers day with my boyfriend he called said he had a card and said call him once i get myself dressed i could pick it up so when i called he didnt answer his cell and he never returned my call so the next day he calls and tells me to get dressed so we could go out i couldnt go out and i talked i didnt fuss and all about moms day and the card and all we had i nice conversation i didnt want to nit pick but should i forget about it since he tried to make up

why were you making a fuss about mothers day with your boyfriend? unless your boyfriend is your son its not a special day for the 2 of you

Reply:It was Mothers Day. You are not his mother!! Why would you expect a boyfriend to honor you on a day meant for HIS MOTHER. He may start thinking of you as high maintenance if you push this issue.
