How has your mothers day been so far?

this morning i was woken up at 9am (heaven) as my husband got up and tended to our 2 and 3 year old sons. they came in with a tray of my fave brekky cereal, croissants butter and jam with freshly squeezed orange juice. after that i was taken downstairs to bacon, eggs, mushrooms, toast and freshly brewed coffee. then came my mothers day present. a beautiful pink soft fluffy robe, matching pjs and matching slippers along with 2 beautiful cards. one from my husband. one from my sons. this was really special to me because my husband and i have not seen eye to eye over alot of things over the past few years. alot of things have been contemplated including splitting up. he has never done anything like this before and i now remember why we got together in the first place. this will be a mothers day i will hold dear to my heart forever. even though its my third mothers day it feels like my first. i dont know why but felt i had to share this beautiful occassion with others. have a great day

Happy Mothers Day! Sounded like you had a blast! I had 2 of my grandkids for the night and enjoyed them here. They gave me this little tiny angel boy sitting on a tiny turtle. My daughter came over and gave me an angel that plays music. My other daughter gave me cologne and an Elvis keychain and magnet. My two sons called to wish me a Happy Mothers Day and I took my mother and dad out to eat and spent the day playing cards with them. Very enjoyable!

Reply:Wow you ate cereal, croissants, and oj then had bacon, eggs, mushrooms, and toast and coffee? Geeze, didn't you eat for a week before that? My daughter is taking me out to dinner tomorrow, not sure yet what my son got me, Mother's Day hasn't come yet.
