my mom says she loves things like letters written by me, and other hand-made things, but i'm not sure if that's just a thing moms say. :P
but anyways, i'm 14 and i don't have a very large budget, only about $50, so i'm thinking about making my mom a handmade card with a letter inside and giving her a super soft blanket and pyjama pants and a candle, because she LOVES being comfortable.
but i'm not sure.
i just want to get something she'll honestly love, not just something she'll say she loves.
so, to all you mothers out there, what do you want your daughter to get you for mother's day?
what would make you very happy to get from your daughter?
Mothers, what would you LOVE for your daughter to get you for Mother's Day?
That sounds awesome! And if you really want to put it over the top, make her breakfast and/or dinner. Do it all yourself and clean up after yourself (you can get your dad to help if you aren't the best cook). Or you could clean your room or do some of your chores without being asked. Any of those things are free and really appreciated!
Reply:I couldn't care less about anything they could buy. If she's like me, she totally means it that anything that you make or write is going to mean much more to her than any other present.
My 4-year-old is writing in invented spelling now and brought home something from school with a tag that says "mom hap p modurz da luv nora". (hap p = "happy" :-) ) If I get nothing else for mothers' day, i couldn't care less. that's just plain awesome.
Reply:Comfy PJ's would be great. I think you have wonderful ideas. If she knew you were asking this I am sure she would be so happy with all of the thought you put into the gift.
Reply:A grandchild.
Reply:my daughter will turn 4 on mothers day!!! i dont expect anything from her but just a big hug and kiss and a i love u!!
Reply:I'm 13 and don't have a lot of money i only have about $21. I'm going to get her a massage by a professional! i know it sounds expensive but at this time a year they give out discounts. even though they did i Was still short a bit so i asked my dad to chip in. I'm going to give her that cause she is stressed out way to much and she deserves a day to relax. if Your mom likes to be comfortable than go with that. all i can tell u is that ur mom will love it no mater what u give her cause it came from you and she knows that it took a lot of thought and that you care! i hope that helped.
Reply:well my daughter did it today...she is 5 1/2 years old and she has been begging to get me something herself ..so today I gave her $20 and she went with my sister and picked some things out..the first one..my sister said that my daughter found and said she wanted to get me..it was a pendent that has #1MOM on it..it was so pretty and so sweet..the second was a silver necklace with stud earrings that my sister helped her pick out...Isn't my oldest sweet...Today her and my sister were trying to put my mothers day gift together and I was seating right beside them..so I had to pretend that I didn't know what was going on...My sister was trying to tell her that she needed to sign her name on the card...well when we were driving my daughter precedes to tell my sister in "whisper" with me there.."lets tell mommy we were talking about airplanes"(now note I could hear her say this)..so my daughter goes into a conversation and tells me that she and my sister were talking about airplanes...LOL.it was soo funny...gosh what a day!!
