What are you doing for your Mom for Mother's Day?

I will be getting my Mother's fave flowers and laying them on her gravesite next weekend. I also made a homeade card and bought a Mother - Daughter necklace and the Mother Necklace will be buried next to her. Please don't feel sorry for me.

I bought my mother spa tickets, and I will be baking her favorite cake for her tomorrow morning, for breakfast in bed. I wrote a little poem for her also, telling her that I appreciate everything she has done for our family.



In addition, my siblings and I are just going to try to make sure that the house is at a peaceful state, no fights or arguments, clean the house etc.



I'm sure your mother would really appreciate what you are doing! :)
Reply:well my mom loves going shopping,so I'm watching my brother and sisters while shes shopping away and then wen she comes home I'm gonna give her a bunch of flowers and a card and I'm cooking dinner for my mom :) so this is gonna be a nice wonderful mothers day for my mom!:) and seriously..my baby sister is a PAIN in the butt!! . I'm holding her rite now and guess what.SHES TRYING TO STICK MY PHONE IN MY MOUTH!!!well that's what I'm Doing and its not so pleasant!!!
Reply:My mom will be dead 20 years this July. With the price of gas, she would totally understand me not driving out to her grave site and laying flowers--I will do that in July. I will spend the day with my family--my daughter is her namesake and I think she would like that.
Reply:That's very sweet of you to do for your mom. Keep in mind that some cemetaries have certain protocols for leaving things on gravesites. Flowers are probably fine. You might want to check with them and see what they say.

Reply:I asked my mum the other day what she wants...

She said all she wants is a sleep in and the day off!

So this morning I have my mum breakfast in bed and I'm not going to nag or ask her for anything today.

Reply:We ordered a cake for the 8 of us (Though we ordered one for 16) and maybe have dinner together. Go swimming if it gets hot enough.
